Professional training since 1990

Continuing Education Centre has been a leading professional training and consultancy organisation in Bangladesh for over 35 years. We teach people who already work — in a room in Dhaka, or on a scheduled Zoom call, with a specialist tutor in the session.

Who we are

A live training centre, not a video library

CEC was set up so working professionals in Bangladesh could keep learning without leaving their jobs for a degree. That is still the point. Every course has dates, a facilitator, and a group of people who show up at the same time.

We do not upload recorded lessons. There is no on-demand catalogue to binge. If a date is full, you can ask to be told about the next intake.

How we teach

What a CEC course is like

Sessions are practical. You work with the people in the room or on the call, not a slide deck sent by email. Facilitators are specialists in the subject they teach.

In the room

Classroom programmes run from our centre in Banani, Dhaka. You get joining instructions with the address, dates and session times before the first day.

On Zoom

Live online intakes use the same tutors and the same timetable. The Zoom link is sent with the booking — it is not a recording you watch later.

For a closed group

HR and L&D teams can send several employees onto an open course, or talk to us about a group for one organisation.

How a programme runs

Choose a course

Browse the live catalogue. Each course shows dates, delivery, fees and remaining places.

Book a place

Organisations enrol a team. Individuals register, pay, and wait for joining instructions.

Attend live

Turn up for the scheduled sessions. The tutor and the group are there at the same time.

Receive a certificate

On selected programmes, named participants who complete the work may be issued a CEC certificate.
